About the Department
The Department of Sociology was incepted in the year June 2003 with an aim to inculcate the knowledge of social development and its evolution process such as growth and progress by analyzing its various branches such as principles of Sociology, Indian Society, Social Psychology, Social Demography, Sociology of Development, Social Thought, Research Methodology & Social Statistics. Hundreds of students are given hands on training in conducting survey based research projects are on various Social issues.
Objective of Department Association
To conduct competitions at Inter Department, Intra Department & Inter College level on various Social issues, to bring awareness on it and also to develop good relationships between the young & blooming sociologists.
