IQAC is an important component in ensuring optimal performance of the institution. The cell assists in monitoring the system and checking that the institution is meeting standards. The aim is to gather information about the effectiveness of the quality system and fulfill the vision and mission of the institution. We at SKPC invest our individual commitment to a group effort and work together towards Quality Assurance, Quality Sustenance and Quality Enhancement. Fostering Quest for Excellence is everyone’s responsibility and together we achieve anything with our faith, belief hard work, determination and commitment.

Sri Kanyaka Parameswari Arts and Science College for Women is committed to provide Excellent Quality Education in Arts, Science, Management & Commerce. We believe that education is a tool which stimulates everyone to go ahead and succeed in life as well as provide an ability to overcome challenges in life. Continual improvement in Quality of education services will foster the enlightment, employment and empowerment and emancipation of Women.

The College Internal Quality Assurance Cell(IQAC) was established on 01-11-2015. The Internal Quality Assurance Cell contributes to the institutional overall shaping & consistent continuous development to keep the benchmark upright for now & ever. Quality enrichment & sustainability is the key process of the IQAC team and it motivates & inspires in generating ideas and unique system for successful institutional growth and development.

As per the guidelines from NAAC:

“The prime task of the IQAC is to develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic improvement  in the overall performance of institutions. For this, during the post-accreditation period, it will channelize all efforts and measures of the institution towards promoting its holistic academic excellence.”

Objectives of IQAC:

IQAC has a defined Quality objectives as:

  1. To achieve academic and administrative excellence
  2. Creating a student-centric atmosphere for holistic learning.
  3. To develop stronger Industry-Academia relation for the benefit of faculty and students.
  4. To promote Interdisciplinary and collaborative research.
  5. To enhance the quality of staff by promoting and encouraging overall faculty development.
  6. To enhance infrastructure for Teaching-Learning and Administration.
